Kanye West's 'Black Skinhead' Arrives Online

After the June 18 release of Kanye West's album "Yeezus", nothing new has come out of the rapper's promo mill since then, in contrast to the full arsenal of performances, building projections and multiple album cover artworks that Yeezy unleashed a month before it's much-anticipated debut. But the dryspell had just been broken with the emergence of his music video "Black Skinhead".Done with the aid of CGI, the new three-and-a-half-minute visuals shows West in animated form shirtless and roaming in a very darkspace. It features the howling wolves and spiked hoods first seen during his appearance on "Saturday Night Live" as musical guest a couple of months back where he debuted the track. The premiere of the "Black Skinhead" music video might just be the sign that West has gone back to the reliable approach of releasing a track to promote an album, amidst the whopping drop in sales his sixth studio album has recently suffered. The discussions over his new dark clip are expected to spark renewed interest in his album.Although West has initially revealedthat "I have this new strategy, it's called no strategy" for "Yeezus", he might need to rethink his plan especially in light of his pal Jay-Z's "Magna Carta Holy Grail" smashing debut. Even the media and public fanfare over the recent birth of his baby girl North with Kim Kardashianis just not translating into record sales for him.
