Goldie and Prezzo spotted…again
It’s becoming quite hard to believe that Ex-BBA housemates Jackson ‘Prezzo’ Makini and Susan ‘Goldie’ Harvey aren’t dating.
The Nigerian pop singer has refused to open up on her relationship with the Kenyan, sometimes denying speculation of a romance.
After Prezzo travelled all the way from
Kenya to Nigeria, apparently to ask Goldie to forgive him for his
behaviour in the Big Brother Stargame house, the duo were spotted in
Kenya at the Channel O ‘O News Live‘ launch in Kenya.
They also got tongues wagging when they
attended late Pastor Bimbo Odukoya’s daugther Tolu Odukoya’s wedding on
November 3 dressed in matching blue traditional wear.
Last night, they again attended yet another event together – the Channel O ‘Hollywood Style House Party‘ held in Lekki, Lagos.
Sources who attended tell us the ‘couple couldn’t get theit hands off each other and looked pretty happy together’.
We’ve also heard from the grapevine that
they are taking their relationship rather serious but are not ready to
make any announcements for now.
Should we be expecting to see a ring on that finger, Goldie…? (wink).

I have not settled with Timaya – Empress
Against the backdrop of the rumour making the rounds that
self-acclaimed Egberi Papa 1 of Bayelsa, Timaya and Empress Njamah have
resolved their differences, three years after their bitter break-up,
the latter has come out to debunk the story.Reports had it that the ex-lovers were spotted together at 2Face Idibia’s 37th birthday bash which held last Tuesday, at Club Rumours, G.R.A, Ikeja, Lagos. But reacting to the story when contacted by WG, Empress said she has nothing in common with Timaya again.
“ I and Timaya are not dating again. He saw me at the party and came to exchange pleasantries with me. There is nothing wrong with that. If we are not dating again does not mean that we are worn enemies. “Empress said
According to the rumour mongers, the erstwhile lovers arrived the venue at different time.
Empress was said to have sat at the same table with some of her Nollywood colleagues when Timaya reportedly got closer to her and whispered something into her ear as they both laughed.
“He was just trying to be nice and Empress replied him, saying “That’s that.” a source disclosed.
Timaya and Empress Njamah began dating over four years back. But in August, 2009, at a church in Festac, Lagos, Timaya was reported to have been beaten by some naval men when he stormed the church with the aim to attack Empress.
He was said to have caused fracas in the church, shouting that Empress should return the key to the car he bought for her. The controversial singer also reportedly called Empress a thief, a situation that led to their permanent separation. Timaya has since moved on with his life. In May 2012, he welcomed his first child, a baby girl from his girlfriend.
Alleged smoking: Genevieve Nnaji caught in the act?
IF the rumour making the rounds is anything to believe, then, top actress, Genevieve Nnaji, has joined the league of female smokers in the Nigerian movie industry.Probably she’d succeeded at ‘keeping it a secret’ and had everyone ‘fooled’ that she’s been a good girl, Genny as fondly called by her fans was allegedly caught smoking by a top Nollywood director and producer, Charles Novia.
In an excerpt from his memoirs titled “Nollywood Till November”, Charles shares his shocking experience when he unexpectedly bumped into the actress while she was busy puffing the smoke from her cigarette into the air.
Excerpt from the Nollywood Till November below:
“Our mutual professional respect for each other developed the more. I remember on the third day of recording, one night while shooting at a clinic in Victoria Garden City Extension, I came out for a bit of fresh air while the technical people were setting up for the next scene.
Genevieve Nnaji Is A Smoker I saw Genevieve in a dark corner of the building, smoking a cigarette. ‘Whoops! You caught me’, she said, laughing. ‘You smoke?’ I asked, a bit surprised. ‘Now and then. It relaxes me ’ she said.”
With the gist already going viral, fans are indeed worried as to why their role model, Gene, would involve herself in such an act.
All efforts to get her response to the gist proved abortive as she was unavailable as at press time.
