White House party crasher, Michaele Salahi, is set to marry her rocker boyfriend Neal Schon. She is proposed by the Journey guitarist, one year after she ditched her then-husband, Tareq Salahi, to be with the musician.
According to TMZ, Neal popped the question on stage when the band played in a benefit event for the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center. The band played their song "Faithful" and she cried in joy after the on-stage proposal.
Michaele dated Neal and Tareq in the '90s. She chose Tareq over Neal because of her multiple sclerosis. "I thought life would be less stressful living on a vineyard in Virginia," she explained. "Life on the road with a rock band ... well, I thought I might not have been able to keep up."
Despite the decision, Michaele still had feelings for Neal and came to a Journey concert in Virginia in early September. When she didn't come back home, Tareq filed a police report of missing person for fears that she might have been kidnapped.
After finding out about her affair with 58-year-old Neal, Tareq subsequently filed for divorce. The former married couple infamously attended a 2009 White House state dinner uninvited.
