This year's American Country Awards sees a stiff competition in Artist of the Year category. Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean and Zac Brown Band are all up for the nod, joined by rising country music star Luke Bryan.
In term of number, Bryan is leading with a total of seven noms. He's once again pitted against Aldean in Artist of the Year: Male category which also names Kenny Chesney, Eric Church and Toby Keith as the contenders.
The "Rain Is a Good Thing" singer will fight against Aldean, Church, Lady A and Blake Shelton for Album of the Year prize. He gets his other nominations for Single of the Year, Single of the Year: Male, Music Video of the Year, and Music Video of the Year: Male.
