Disorderly Conduct Charges Against Sam Worthington Dismissed

Sam Worthington couldn't be more relieved after disorderly conduct charges against him were called off. Bouncer Jerry Link, who complained that the actor was drunk and violent, didn't show up in a Georgia court hearing on Monday morning, November 5. It then led the judge to dismiss the case.

However, according to TMZ, Jerry denied that he ever received any summons to appear in the court. Moreover, he claimed that he didn't know Sam was a Hollywood actor since he didn't watch both his blockbuster movies, "Avatar" and "Terminator Salvation".

Jerry accused the 36-year-old actor of being intoxicated, violent, and refusing to show his ID, which finally led them into a fray at Vortex Bar and Grill, in Atlanta. According to the bouncer, the "Wrath of the Titans" actor showed up in a dirty hoodie and carried a bunch of clothes. The complaining witness thought the actor was a homeless man since he was reportedly very sloppy and drunk.

Seeing Sam in such condition, Jerry forbade the actor to enter the club. However, the British-born actor allegedly pushed him and yelled, "I'm a DEA agent! You f**ked up now!," referring to a role in his currently-filming movie, "Ten", where he co-stars veteran actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Responding to the aggressive attack, the bouncer pepper sprayed him. He then put the actor in cuffs and called police. The Perseus of "Clash of the Titans" was later taken into custody.

Aside from "Ten", Sam will be seen in "Drift" which hasn't got a U.S. release date just yet. Also lining up in his plate are "Thunder Run" and "Avatar 2". The last-mentioned one is scheduled to be released in 2016.
