Not so long after she suggested people on Twitter not to get panic over Hurricane Sandy, Lindsay Lohan
may finally find a reason why she should be worried of the superstorm.
TMZ reports that the Long Island neighborhood, where Lindsay's mom Dina
Lohan is living, has been badly damaged by the tropical storm. Dina opens up that she was at her house when the hurricane mercilessly wrecked her neighborhood. She was with her kids Cody and Ali Lohan, while LiLo and Michael Jr. were stranded in Manhattan due to the closures of the bridge and tunnel.
She goes on reporting that there was a tree that was uprooted on her own property. The tree ripped a gash through her roof on its way down before eventually landing over the swimming pool. Some photos obtained by TMZ provide a clear look at the damage in Dina's property. One picture even sees several speed boats visibly landing on people's lawns following the storm.
The storm that attacked Dina's neighborhood is quite an irony of what LiLo previously said. On Sunday, October 28, she tweeted, "WHY is everyone in SUCH a panic about hurricane (i'm calling it Sally)..? Stop projecting negativity! Think positive and pray for peace." She then posted a hashtag of #hurricanesassy that soon became one of the trending topics and spawned a Wikipedia page.

Even the homes of famous people weren’t safe from Sandy. The hurricane almost destroyed everything that blocked its way. I’m just thankful that Dina Lohan and her kids are safe. For me, doing extreme preparation procedures doesn’t mean you’re a pessimist because this is key to having greater chances of survival.
