Taylor Lautner and Dakota Fanning apparently couldn't dodge the media's curiosity about their thoughts on Kristen Stewart's
cheating scandal. While Taylor avoided judging Kristen, Dakota
emotionally criticized people's judgment toward the Bella Swan of "Twilight".
When questioned about his opinion on Kristen's brief fling with "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders, the Jacob Black of "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part I"
told Cosmopolitan in an interview for the magazine's December issue,
"To be honest, I've never been involved in any of those situations, so I
don't know..."
Her controversial affair aside, Taylor had nothing but good words for the "On the Road" actress. He gushed, "Kristen is fantastic at everything she does. I'm always proud of her."
On whether or not it's possible to reunite with an ex, the 20-year-old
replied, "It depends on how long you were with that person. If it was a
long, serious relationship, I think it's quite easy to rekindle." He
went on, "I guess it depends on what damage has been done."
Meanwhile, Dakota was more emotional during her interview with InStyle
U.K. She put the blame on the media for exposing Kristen's personal
life, saying, "Well, I just think that media frenzies like that...
Everyone thinks they have the right to, you know, publicize the
struggles and sadness and heartbreak and all that." The 18-year-old
actress went on, "It's like, 'Why do you think you are the authority to
judge people's experiences?' "
Kristen broke up with Robert Pattinson
earlier this year, following her affair with Rupert. The 22-year-old
actress then wrote down an apologetic statement to the Edward Cullen
depicter. The couple has been rumored rekindling their romance after
spotted stepping out together on several occasions. Recently, the pair
was also snapped holding hands when they celebrated Halloween at
Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
